Real Madrid goalkeeper Keylor Navas insists he tries to ignore rumours encompassing his future, with the Liga giants linked to varied players.
Madrid ar reportedly considering moves for Manchester United’s David First State Gea and Chelsea’s Thibaut Courtois, putting Navas’s place at risk.
But when taking part in in Madrid’s 3-1 win at Osasuna on weekday, Costa Rica shot-stopper Navas said he was unfazed.
“I try to work effortlessly a day and ignore those kinds of things,” he told the club’s website.
“I don’t gain or lose something with all of that.
“Madrid has to have the simplest players and that i work effortlessly day after day to be the simplest, be amongst the best players and to be able to stay here for several years to come back.”
Navas, who is shrunk till mid-2020, also aforesaid he was happy to have the support of capital of Spain president Florentino Perez.
The 30-year-old said: “That’s very necessary on behalf of me, he’s displayed the trust he has in Pine Tree State.
“I’m relaxed and I try and repay that faith with saves and by serving to the team.”
